The Discover More campaign was a construction recruitment initiative from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) aimed at parents, teachers, and other influencers. The goal of this campaign is to show these influencers the benefits of the construction industry and to give them the tools to encourage students/young adults to learn about opportunities and career options in construction.
Discover More takes a non-traditional approach to recruitment, so to reflect that, I wanted to take a non-traditional approach with the design as well: a colorful, eye-catching palette in direct opposition with the rough, dark and grungy imagery typically associated with the industry. The colors are muted variations of NCCER’s colors, to stay consistent with the overall brand. Site was developed by Jessica Gray, using my branding, wireframes, and mockups.
This campaign won two awards: A 2019 Construction Media Award for print advertising, and a 2020 Gold ADDY Award for best social media campaign.

Below are various pieces I have created, ranging from digital advertisements to trade show items to research documents. I have also created materials for NCCER’s sub-brands and initiatives, including the recruiting-focused Discover More campaign and the veteran-focused Hard Hat Heroes initiative.
